CYTOKERATIN
ANTIBODIES
(anti-Human and others as indicated)
RDI Divison of researchd Industries Intl offers a wide line of antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (neutralization, blotting, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below.
ANTI-CYTOKERATIN 20
cat#RDI-PRO61033 $410.00/vial
Clone Determination IT-Ks 20.5
Category
Mouse monoclonal
Immunoglobulin Class IgG2a
Purification
Protein A affinity chromatograph
Antigen
Electrophoretically purified cytokeratin (CK)
20 from human intestinal mucosa
Clinical Value IT-Ks
20.5 represents an excellent marker for certain types of carcinomas such
as adeno-carcinomas of the colon, transitional cell carcinomas of the bladder
and Merkel cell tumors of the skin. Very sensitive detection of intestinal
and gastric fovelar epithelium, urothelial umbrella cells, Merkel cells of
epidermis as metastatic colorectal carcinoma. Adenocarcinomas of breast,
lung, endothelium and ovary (non-mucinous) as well as neuroendocrine tumors
of the lung are essentially negative. Polypeptide recognized: protein IT
(cytokeratin#20, Mr 46,000)
Application Suitable for frozen tissue sections and cytological material
Immunoblotting (Western)
Stability/Storage at 2-8°C one year after reconstitution when stored at 2-8 DEG C. For extended storage, keep in aliquots at -20 DEG C. Avoid repeated thawing and freezing.
Quantity
50 µg (lyoph.) from PBS which contains
0.5%BSA and 0.09% NaN3
Reconstitution:
Add 1ml DI Water
Polypeptide Reacting Protein IT (cytokeratin No. 20; Mr 46 000)
Antigen Recognized in Human (NOT with rat)
Reactivities on Cultured cell lines tested so far:
HT-29, LoVo, DLD-1, SW 1116, Cell Lines ,CaCo-2, RT-4
Working Dilution Reconstitute in 1 ml dist. water and dilute 1:10 in PBS (pH 7.4) for immunohistochemical application.
Incubation Time 1 h at RT or over night at 4°C.
