Reactivity: Reacts with mouse glycoprotein IIb, also called integrin alpha IIb chains (CD41), which associates with integrin B3 chain to form the gpIIb/IIIa (CD41/CD61) complex. CD41/CD61 is expressed on platelets and magakaryocytes and binds to fibrinogen, fibronectin, vWF and thrombospondin

        -immunoprecipitation

        -histochemistry (acetone fixed frozen section, titrate from 10ug/ml)

        -in vivo depletion of thrombocytes (using an azide free formulation)

        -in vivo induction of pathology of early stages of endotoxic shock
