Anti-MOUSE
CD CLUSTERED ANTIBODIES

RDI Division of Fitzgerald Industries Intl  offers a wide line of  antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (flow cytometry, neutralization, blotting, histochemistry, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below. All products are for in vitro research use only-not for use in or on humans or animals-not for use in diagnostics. Price/availability/specifications subject to change without notice.

Anti-MOUSE  CD40  Antibodies

DATA SHEET  :Rat anti mouse CD40 , monoclonal

Catalog#: RDI-mCD40-323  Price: $594.00/1pkg

Package Size: 0.5mg purified ab (no azide formulation)

Supplied: purified rat monoclonal

Clone: 3/23

Ig Isotype: rat IgG2ak

Reactivity: Reacts with the murine CD40 molecule, a 40-50 kDa glycoprotein expressed on B cells, follicular dendritic cells, thymic epithelium and interdigitating cells in the T cell zones of secondary lymphoid organs. The CD40 molecule has a central role in B cell growth and differentiation:Ligation of CD40 is reported to be an important signal in B cell survival. Furthermore, signaling through CD40 in combination with IL-4 reportedly induces immunoglobulin isotype switching and secretion of IgE.

-Clone 3/23 also reacts with 5-10% of T cells in the adult but not with neonatal mouse spleen. The reactivity of 3/23 with peripheral T cells has been observed in some but not all mouse strain analyzed. Ligation of CD40 with clone 3/23 antibody upregulates the expression of MHC Class II antigens, CD23 and CD86. Although this 3/23 antibody by itself is a weak B cell mitogen, it synergizes markedly with mitogenic anti-IgM or anti-D mab or IL-4 to promote B cell proliferation. IN addition, co stimulation with 3/23 and IL- 4 rescues B cells from apoptosis by extensive cross linking of surface Igm or IgD.

Uses: -indirect flow cytometry

-immunohistochemistry on acetone fixed frozen sections

-in vitro B cell activation studies

Storage: Store at 4 Deg C.

DATA SHEET:Hamster anti mouse/Rat CD40 ( IgE Fc Receptor), monoclonal

Catalog#: RDI-MCD40-HM40     $312.00/100ug with azide

               RDI-mCD40-HM40X    $625.00/1pkg (no azide)

Package Size: 0.1mg purified ab in 0.2ml buffer with 0.09% sodium azide.

Supplied: purified hamster monoclonal

Clone: HM40-3

Ig Isotype: Armenian Hamster IgM

Reactivity: Reacts with the murine CD40 molecule, a 40-50 kDa glycoprotein expressed on B cells, follicular dendritic cells, thymic epithelium and interdigitating cells in the T cell zones of secondary lymphoid organs. The CD40 molecule has a central role in B cell growth and differentiation:Ligation of CD40 is reported to be an important signal in B cell survival. Furthermore, signaling through CD40 in combination with IL-4 reportedly induces immunoglobulin isotype switching and secretion of IgE.

-Plate bound or soluble HM40-3 antibody stimulates spleen cells to proliferate in vitro. This antibody also induces spleen B cells to express the co-stimulatory molecule CD86. Clone HM40-3 has been demonstrated to inhibit the binding of soluble gp39, the CD40 Ligand to soluble CD40 and to cell surface CD40.

-Also cross reacts with simialr opulations of Lewis, Sprague-Dawley and LOU rat leukocytes.

Uses: -indirect flow cytometry

-blocking of ligand binding (azide free)

        -B cell activation

         -Lewis rat B cells

(for mouse histochemistry, recommend clone 3/23)

Storage: Store at 4 Deg C.
