Activity: The antibody reacts with mouse IL-1 receptor type II/p68 and blocks IL-1 binding to type II IL-1 receptors

Application: Indirect immunofluorescence cell surface staining. (<1ug/1 million cells) (recommend using amplified detection due to low levels present such as Biotin labeled second step with Streptavidin- PE).

                     -immunoprecipitation

                     -in vitro blocking (azide free formulation) of IL-1 alpha and IL-1 Beta binding to mouse type II IL-1 receptors, although it does not neutralize IL-1A or IL-1b bioactivities. (recommend clone 35F5, anti-IL-1 type 1 for neutralization)

                      -western blot of NON-reduced proteins
