ANTIBODIES
(anti-Human and others as indicated)
RDI Division of Fitzgerald Industries Intl offers a wide line of antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (neutralization, blotting, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below.
DATA SHEET: Rabbit anti-Ovalbumin (hen egg white)
Catalog#: RDI-OVALBabr $315.00/vial
Also available HRP conjugated: cat#RDI-OVALBabr-HRP $379.50/20mg vial
Biotin conjugated cat#RDI-Ovalbabr-BT $379.50/10mg vial
Size: 50 mg (lyophilized)
Antibody Concentration: 10.0 mg/ml (by UV absorbance at 280 nm)
Buffer: 0.02 M Potassium Phosphate, 0.15 M Sodium Chloride,pH 7.2
Stablizer: None
Preservative: 0.01% (w/v) Sodium Azide
Antigen: Ovalbumin (hen egg white).
Applications: suitable for immunoblotting (western or dot blot),ELISA and immunoprecipitation,
Background: reacts with ovalbumin from hen egg white showing a 45kDa band under
non-reducing and reducing conditions of SDS-Page. Ovalbumin is the main protein
found in egg white and its amino acid content is very similar to that of bovine
serum albumin. The antibody may facilitate the analysis of ovalbumin conjugates
used in drug and pharmaceutical manufacturing and in biotechnology, including
quantitation methods.
Recommended Dilutions: Not determined. Optimal titers for applications should
be determined by the researcher.
Storage Conditions: Store vial at 4'C prior to restoration. Re-store with 5.0
ml of deionized water (or equivalent). Centrifuge product if not completely
clear after standing at room temperature. This product is stable for several
weeks at 4'C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. For
extended storage aliquot contents and freeze at -20'C or below. Avoid cycles of
freezing and thawing. Expiration date is one (1)year
from date of reconstituion.
Purity and Specificity: This product is an IgG fraction antibody purified from
monospecific antiserum by a multi-step process which includes delipidation,
salt fractionation and ion exchange chromatography followed by extensive
dialysis against the buffer stated above. Assay by imunoelectrophoresis
resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti- Rabbit Serum as well as
purified and partially purified ovalbumin (hen egg white)
Precautions: For In vitro research Use Only. Not for use in or on humans or
animals or for diagnostics. It is the responsibility of the user to
comply with all local/state and Federal rules in the use of this product. We
are not responsible for any patent infringements that might result with the use
of or derivation of this product.

non conjugated #RDI-Ovalbabr-BT $315.00/50mg vial
Size: 10 mg (lyophilized)
Antibody Concentration: 10.0 mg/ml (by UV absorbance at 280 nm)
Label: Biotinamidocaproate N-hydroxysuccinimide Ester (BAC) approx 10-20
BAC/rabbit IgG
Buffer: 0.02 M Potassium Phosphate, 0.15 M Sodium Chloride,pH 7.2
