Choline oxidase antibodies from RDI Divison

28th Aug 2021

RDI Divison of researchd Industries Intl offers a wide line of antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (neutralization, blotting, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below.

Antigen: choline oxidase

Applications: suitable for immunoblotting (western or dot blot),ELISA, immunoprecipitation, conjugation and most immunological methods requiring high titer and specificity. -reacts with the enzyme choline oxidase isolated from Alcaligenes showing a 95kda band under reducing conditions of SDS-PAGE. Choline oxidase converts choline to glycinebetaine. Accumulation of glycinebetaine in plants has been shown to enhance tolerance to salt and cold stress. Choline oxidase has also been used as a bioenymatic sensor after attachement to copolymers and is used for enzymatic determination of phospholipids and choline esterase. Cross reactivity is expected against the enzyme from ohter sources.

Recommended Dilutions: Not determined. Optimal titers for applications should be determined by the researcher. approx 1:1000

Reactivity: not tested with other species

Storage Conditions: Store vial at 4'C prior to restoration. Re-store with 5.0 ml of deionized water (or equivalent). Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. This product is stable for several weeks at 4'C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. For extended storage aliquot contents and freeze at -20'C or below. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Expiration date is one (1)year from date of reconstitution.

For In vitro research Use Only. Not for use in or on humans or animals or for diagnostics.
