ANTIBODIES
(anti-Human and others as indicated)
RDI Divison of researchd Industries Intl offers a wide line of antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (neutralization, blotting, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below.
PRICE: $375.00/mg or $312.00/mg 2 or more
Clone: 2E9
This clone has been derived from hybridization of Sp2/0 myeloma cells with
spleen cells of a balb/c mice immunized with purified beta galactosidase
of E. Coli.
Specificity: galactosidase of E.Coli
Reactivity: MoAb 2E9 reacts with beta galactosidase of E. Coli and Aspergillus
oryzae. Cross reactivity with beta galactosidase from bovine liver less than
10%. This Mab does not influence enzyme activity. Specific titer in indirect
elisa 1:1 million.
Mouse isotype: IgG1, kappa
Application: Detection of beta galactosidase expressed by LacZ gene
in cloned sequences.
Presentation:Each vial contains 1 ml of antibodies with concentration 1 mg/ml,
in PBS, pH 7.4, containing 0.1% of sodium azide as preservative. Store at
-20C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Material safety note: This product is sold as an antibody preparation for
research purpose only. Standard Laboratory Practices should be followed when
handling this material. Contains sodium azide (0.1%) as preservative. Although
the amount of sodium azide is very small appropriate care must be taken when
handling this product.
FOR IN VITRO RESEARCH USE ONLY

Size: 10 mg (lyophilized)
Antibody Concentration: approx 10mg/ml
Buffer: 0.02 M Potassium Phosphate, 0.15 M Sodium Chloride,pH 7.2
Stablizer: None
Preservative: 0.01% (w/v) Sodium Azide
Antigen: B Galactosidase (from E. Coli)
Applications: suitable for immunoblotting (western or dot blot),ELISA,
immunoprecipitation, conjugation and most immunological methods requiring
high titer and specificity.
Activity: binds to the bacterial form of the enzyme and may be used to detect
any b- galactosidase expression by the lacZ gene.Shows a band of 464 Kda
(tetramer) under non-reducing conditions of SDS-Page and a 115Kda under reducing
conditions (Laemmli 4-20 % gradient SDS-PAGE)
Recommended Dilutions: Not determined. Optimal titers for applications should
be determined by the researcher.
Storage Conditions: Store vial at 4'C prior to restoration. Re-store with
5.0 ml of deionized water (or equivalent). Centrifuge product if not completely
clear after standing at room temperature. This product is stable for several
weeks at 4'C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use.
For extended storage aliquot contents and freeze at -20'C or below. Avoid
cycles of freezing and thawing. Expiration date is one (1)year from date
of reconstituion.
