(anti-Human and others as indicated)

RDI Divison of researchd Industries Intl  offers a wide line of  antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (neutralization, blotting, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below.

WWOX (WW domain-containing oxidoreductase)
Rabbit anti-WW domain-containing oxidoreductase (WWOX) Polyclonal Antibody

Catalog Number: RDI-ALS24400      $312.00/100ug

                            RDI-ALS24400X   $1875.00/1mg

Lot Number:

Quantity: 100ug in 100ul (1mg/ml) in PBS containing 0.02% sodium azide.

Description: WW domain-containing oxidoreductase WWOX, also known as WOX1 or FOR, is a proapoptotic protein and a tumor suppressor gene. Because mutation or deletion in the coding region of WWOX is rarely found, it is speculated that the appearance of aberrant transcripts affects progression of many cancers. In addition, protein levels of WWOX, its Tyr33-phosphorylated form, and WOX2 are significantly down-regulated in the neurons of Alzheimer's hippocampi.

Host Species: Rabbit

Specificity: The rabbit polyclonal was generated against the peptide representing residues 89-107 RLAFTVDDNPTKPTTRQRY of WWOX. Reacts with human and mouse. Expected to react in chimpanzee and orangutan since sequence is 100% conserved,

Note: Investigators occasionally observe in overdeveloped blots a faint upper ladder-like banding pattern in many cell types using WWOX1 antibodies against Tyr33 phosphorylation. It is surmised that faint upper bands may represent WWOX ubiquitination. However these bands do not appear if properly developed.

Applications: Western blot - Use at 1:1,000 to 1:5,000 dilution. However, the investigator should determine the optimal dilution for a specific application such as immunohistochemistry.

Format: Affinity purified IgG

Storage: Maintain at +2-8°C for 3 months or at -20°C for longer periods. Stable for 1 year. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
