Purification: purified by dextranne T-10 density gradient centrifugation

Presentation: STE, containing 0.1% sodium azide

Inactivation: 0.005% merthiolate

Analysis: Purity more than 90% according to 7.5% SDS-PAGE two major bands corresponding to 102K and 160K

Activity: Has been tested with anti-EBV antibodies in immunoblotting and ELISA

Application: Anti-EBV VCA IgG and IgM determination.

-prepared by extraction of P3HR-1 cells that have been induced to produce viral proteins by TPA and sodium butyrate. The preparation contains all major EBV antogens and has been partially purified to reduce host cell componentss. These antigens are inactivated and yield high sensitivity and low background in the ELISA and other solid phase immunoassays.In a sample ELISA, a dilution of the antigen at 1:1280 yields an OD405 of 0.5.
