Purity: not determined, prepared by glycine extraction of vero cells infected with Herpes simplex Type I, strain F. Partially purified to reduce host cell components. There is approx 30% cross reactivity with antibodies against Type II Herpes Simplex virus.

Biohazard: Material was inactivated, however the material should be handled as though infectious.
