produced using the baculovirus expression system.

Storage: Store at -70 DEG C or below, , at first thaw aliquot and store -70 DEG C. Avoid frequent freeze thaw cycles as product degradation may result.
Activity: Immunoreactive in Elisa and westernblot using monoclonal or polyclonal antibodies to HIVgp120 as well as HIV-1 positive human sera. High affinity binding to immobilized CD4.
Biohazard: Material not considered infectious but should be handled as though infectious. NOTE: the protein is biologically active and could potentially generate a protein-specific immune response if an exposure incident were to occur. We therefore recommend handling this material under BSL-2 guidelines set forth in NIH-CDC HS publication number (CDC)93-8395, 4th Edition, 1999.
