ANTIBODIES
(anti-Human and others as indicated)
RDI Divison of researchd Industries Intl offers a wide line of antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (neutralization, blotting, histochemistry, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below.
Monoclonal mouse anti-F1 antigen Yersinia pesti
CAT#: RDI-TRK3YP8
PRICE: $375.00/mg or $344.00/mg 2
or more
Clone: YPF19
This clone has been derived from hybridization of Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells of a balb/c mice immunized with purified F1 antigen (purified Y.pestis strain EV76 F1 capsular antigen)
Immunoreactivity: Mab YPF19 recognize Y.pestis F1 capsular antigen. There
is no cross-reactivity with Y.pseudotuberculosis and Y. enterocolitica.
Note:Anti-Y.pestis capsular F1 AntigenY.pestis has a number of virulence factors that enable it to survive in humans by facilitating use of host nutrients, causing damage to host cells, and subverting phagocytosis and other host defense mechanisms. Capsular F1 antigen is a main immunochemical component of Y.pestis surface. Its synthesis is determined by pFra plasmid and induced at 37 °C. F1 is aggregated on the outer membrane of the Y.pestis microbe as an olygomeric protein, forming a granular layer and gradually diffusing into the environment. Capsular polymer consists of multiple similar hydrophobic protein subunits, aggregating at physiological conditions. F1 subunit of the antigen is originally synthesized from 170 amino acids and has a molecular mass 17.6 K, then, after the elimination of the signal peptide during the secretion onto the surface, a protein with molecular mass 15.6 K and isoelectric point 4.1 is formed.
Applications: (see .pdf file for more info 3yp8data.pdf)
1. Western Blotting (approx 1ug/ml)
2. ELISA (see general protocol). Figure 8 shows the calibration curve for Y.pestis F1 antigen quantification using double antibody sandwich ELISA with Mab YPF19. The detection limit for the immunoassay is 0.5 ng/ml
3.MoAb F19 work in immunohistochemistry.
Purification: Purified by chromatography on protein A Sepharose.Purity is
tested by electrophoresis.
Presentation: Each vial contains 1 ml of antibodies with concentration 1
mg/ml, in PBS, pH 7.4, containing 0.1% of sodium azide as preservative. Store
at -20C.
Material Safety Note: This product is sold as an antibody preparation for
research purpose only. Standard Laboratory Practices should be followed when
handling this material. Contains sodium azide (0.1%) as preservative. Although
the amount of sodium azide is very small apropriate care must be taken when
handling this product.
