This clone has been derived from hybridization of SP2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells of a Balb/c mice immunized with purified influenza virus type A strain H1N1.

This clone has been derived from hybridization of Px myeloma cells with spleen cells of a SJL/J mice immunized with purified influenza virus type A strain H3N2.
Specificity: Influenza virus type A, (haemagglutinin).
Reactivity:
MAb clone 12/5 reacts with haemagglutin
H3N2 serotype
Mouse isotype: IgG1 (clone C102 )
IgG2b (clone 12/5)
Application: ELISA, immunocytochemistry, hemagglutinin inhibition, immunofluorescence
Purification: Purified by chromatography on protein A or G Sepharose.
Purity is tested by electrophoresis.
Presentation: Each vial contains 1 ml of antibodies with concentration 1mg/ml,
in PBS, pH 7.4,containing 0.1% of sodium azide as
preservative. Store 4-8 DEG C.
Material safety note: This product is sold as an antibody preparation for
research purpose only. Standard Laboratory Practices should be followed when
handling this material. Contains sodium azide (0.1%)
as preserv ative. Although
the amount of sodium azide is very small appropriate
care must be taken when handling this product.
For In Vitro Research Use Only
The immunogen for the mab 12/5 was purified influenza A virus (H3N2) strain A/Panama/2007/99. The antibodies react with HA of influenza A (H3N2), 1995-2000 years of isolation. No cross-reactivity with heterological viruses was detected in ELISA and IF tests.
The immunogen for the mab C102 was purified influenza A virus (H1N1) strain A/Kazakhstan/Seagull/470. The antibodies have been tested positive in microsphere-based immunoassay with the following strains: A/Beijing/262/95, A/New Caledonia/20/99, A/Taiwan/1/86, A/Texas/1/77 and DC-A/New Caledonia/20/99. The antibodies did not react with the following strains: A/Leningrad/325/88, A/Kiev/301/94, A/Panama/2507/99, A/Shangdong/9/93, B/Leningrad/86/93, B/Qingdao/102/91, CDC-A/Panama/2007/99, CDC-B/Sichuan/379/99 and CDC-B/Victoria/504/2000.
