Anti- Virus ANTIBODIES
(anti-Human and others as indicated)
RDI Division of Fitzgerald Industries Intl offers a wide line of antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (neutralization, blotting, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below.
Mab to human Papillomavirus (see 8 clones below)
DATA SHEET: Mouse anti-Human Papillomavirus TYPE 18 monoclonal
Background: Infection with specific types of human papillomavirus
(HPV) has been associated with an increased risk of developing cervical neoplsia. HPV types 6 and 11 have been associated with
relatively benign diseases as genital warts but types 16 and 18 are strongly
associated with cervical, vaginal and vulvar
malignancies.
Catalog#: RDI-HPV18-5A3

Batch:
Package Size: 2ml lyophilized (tissue culture supernatant containing 15mM
sodium azide). Reconstitute with 1ml distilled water.
Clone: 5A3
Isotype: mouse IgG1
Activity: Useful for detection of replicating HPV type 18 and is specific for
the L1 coat protein
Application -frozen sections 1:10 dilution
-paraffin section when using high temp release
-western blotting (not recommended, not optimal)
Storage: Store at 4 Deg C or below. Store reconstituted material in aliquots at -20 DEG C. Avoid frequent freeze thaw cycles.
Precautions:For In vitro research Use Only. Not for usein or on humans or animals or for diagnostic It is the responsibility of the user to comply with all local/state and Federal rules in the use of this product. We are not responsible for any patent infringements that might result with the use of or derivation of this product.

$406.00/mg $375.00/mg 10+ Bulk quotes on request
Clones: 716-281, 716-325 These clones have been derived from hybridization of SP2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells of Balb/c mice immunised with clones 716-281; 716-332
Mouse isotype: 716-281-IgG2b, 716-325-IgG2a
Application: Mab 716-281 is recommended to be used as a capture antibody and 716-325 as a conjugate in sandwich ELISA. Both clones are suitable for Western Blotting. Both antibodies are cross-reacting with E7 protein of HPV type 18.
Purification: Purified by chromatography on protein G Sepharose. Purity is tested by electrophoresis.
Presentation: Each vial contains antibodies in PBS, pH 7,2, containing 0,1% of sodium azide as preservative. Store at - 20 °C.
Material safety note: This product is sold as an antibody preparation for research purpose only. Standard Laboratory Practices should be followed when handling this material. Contains sodium azide (0,1%) as preservative. Although the amount of sodium azide is very small appropriate care must be taken when handling this product.

MOUSE MONOCLONAL ANTIBODY TO: HPV-16 LATE 1 PROTEIN
PRODUCT CODE RDI-CBL402 $375.00/vial
CLONE
ISOTYPE IgG2a
SOURCE Tissue culture supernatant
PURIFICATION METHOD Protein A affinity chromatography
SPECIFICITY This antibody recognizes late protein of
human papilloma virus type 16. HPV-6 & -II
positive biopsies gave negative results. In western blotting CamVir-1 detects a
41 kDa protein that is observed in a wide range of
uninfected mammalian cells, this unwanted specificity is absent by immunoprecipitation, immunofluorescence
or immunoperoxidase. This may be a reflection of
cross-reactivity between HPV-16 L1 and a cryptic epitope
in mammalian cells that is only revealed following exhaustive denaturation.
APPLICATIONS
*Detection of HPV in cervical smears and biopsies
*CamVir-1 recognises HPV-16 LI by immunoprecipitation, western blotting, immunofluorescence on cells fixed in acetone or paraformaldehyde and immunoperoxidase staining of paraffin sections
*Application to diagnostic kits
PRESENTATION The monoclonal is presented at a concentration of 200µg/2ml in phosphate buffered saline containing 10mM sodium azide and 1mg/ml bovine serum albumin. We recommend that each laboratory determine an optimum working titre for use in its particular application.
STORAGE For use within 1 month of purchase store at +4oC, for long term storage aliquot antibody into small volumes and store at -20oC.
