ANTIBODIES
(anti-Human and others as indicated)
RDI Divison of researchd Industries Intl offers a wide line of antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (neutralization, blotting, histochemistry, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below.
CAT#: RDI-TRK4M40-CM1 $375.00/1mg $312.00/mg 2+
Clone: CM1
This clone has been derived from hybridization of X63-Ag8-653 myeloma
cells with spleen cells of Balb/c mice immunized with carbohydrate
portion of high molecular weight(more than 300 kDa) glycoprotein
from human milk-fat globule molecule.
Specificity: Directed to epitope which is poorly expressed on normal luminal
membrane of breast tissue and secretory epithelia, but strongly expressed
on primary, secondary breast cancers and T47D, MCF7 human carcinoma. Affinity
more 10(9) M-1.
Mouse isotype: IgG1
Application: Immunohistochemical and immunofluorescent detection of meoplastic
breast epithelium. Antibodies are working on frozen tissue sections.
Purification: Purified by chromatography on protein A Sepharose. Purity is
tested by electrophoresis.
Presentation: Each vial contains antibodies in PBS,pH7,4, containing 0.1%
of sodium azide as preservative. Store at +4'C.
Material safety note: This product is sold as an antibody preparation for
research purpose only. Standard Laboratory Practices should be followed when
handling this material. Contains sodium azide (0.1%) as preservative. Although
the amount of sodium azide is very small appropriate care must be taken when
handling this product.
$375.00/200ug (see ref: Canc. Res. 47, 5476-82 (1987) ).
$375.00/200ug (probably designated CA50) clone Cam 17.1
$375.00/200ug (reacts with lewis A antigen, colonic mucus, epithelial cells and cell membranes).
$500.00/100Tests clone b-12 useful for identifying mucin-like carcinoma antigens (MCA) produced by various tumors and certain healthy glandular cells. In combination with other BMA markers for inflammation staging or investigating neo vascularization processes, clone b-12 is a valuable tool for studying tumor growth/regression. mIgG1k, suitable for frozen and paraffin sections.
$375.00/1ml (see ref: Human Pathology 25, 364-372 (1994).
(EMA/CA15-3/MUC1) antibodies BULK ON REQUEST
$375.00/200ug clone VU-4H5. suitable for ELISA, IP, WB, histochemistry (frozen ,and formalin fixed/paraffin sections with high temp release). A pan-epithelial marker for detecting early metastatic loci of carcinoma in the bone marrow or liver. Inquire for Bulk -
$375.00/1ml (see ref: Human Pathology 25, 364-372 (1994).
$375.00/1ml (useful in colonic and gastric tumours to detect MUC-2 also known as intestinal-Mucin Related Protein) Inquire for Bulk purified with/wo BSA.
$375.00/100ug -useful in ELISA, western blotting, histochemistry
$625.00/200ug -reacts with both colon carcinoma as well as normal colon. Muc3 is distributed in colon and rectum, and is also present to a lesser extent in breast, lung and salivary glands. (ref:Journal of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, 1995,10:555-561 Inquire for BULK purified with/without BSA.
$375.00/100ug -useful in western blotting (non reducing),
$625.00/200ug ethanol fixed cells, histochemistry (forzen and formalim/paraffin reacts with the peptide of gastric mucin M1 (>1,000 kDa). Reacts with gastric epithelium of normal gastrointestinal tract as well as with the precancerous colon but not with adult colon. It also reacts with fetal colonic mucosa. human, rat, pig, chicken, mouse, monkey, rabbit and feline reactive (not with bovine) ref:International journal of Cancer, 1991 47 (2);304-10.
$438.00/1ml reacts with surface epithelium of the normal gastrointestinal tract, but not with normal colon. The antibody also reacts with fetal colonic mucosa, adenomas, hyperplastic polyps, carcinomas and mucosa adjacent to carcinomas.
$375.00/vial (suitable for parrafin embedded tissues) 1ml lyophilized

Hybridoma: mouse myeloma (Sp 2/0)
USES: -frozen section
-Paraffin sections (using high temp unmasking technique)
-typical dilutions:1:50-1:100, 30 minute incubation
at 25 DEG C.
Stain: Cytoplasmic
and extracellular membrane associated staining pattern.
Controls: Breast carcinoma (a high percentage
will stain positive)
Reconstitution: 1 ml distilled water.
Storage: Store lyophilized material
at 4 DEG C. Store reconstituted material at 4 DEG C for
immediate use. For long term use, recommend aliquoting and store at -20 DEG C. Avoid
frequent freeze thaw cycles.
*NOTE: Although this antibody was made against ZR75-1 cancer cells and is
regarded as a breast associated cancer antigen, it also reacts with a proportion
of adenocarcinomas from other sites. The clinical and biological significance
of expression of the MUC-1 core antigen has not yet been established.

Background: MUc-2 glycoprotein also known as intestinal mucin related protein
antigen is an intestinal apomucin.Muc-2 glycoprotein is expressed in mucinous
tumors but not in serous tumors. Expression of MUC-2 glycoprotein is found
in a low percentage of borderline malignancies and in approx 55 percent of
carcinomas where Muc-1 glycoprotein is also expressed. muc-2 is useful for
the detection of MUC-2 glycoprotein in colonic and gastric tumors.
