ANTIBODIES

(anti-Human and others as indicated)

RDI Divison of Fitzgerald Industries Intl  offers a wide line of  antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (neutralization, blotting, histochemistry, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below.

Background: MUc-2 glycoprotein also known as intestinal mucin related protein antigen is an intestinal apomucin.Muc-2 glycoprotein is expressed in mucinous tumors but not in serous tumors. Expression of MUC-2 glycoprotein is found in a low percentage of borderline malignancies and in approx 55 percent of carcinomas where Muc-1 glycoprotein is also expressed. muc-2 is useful for the detection of MUC-2 glycoprotein in colonic and gastric tumors.
