  ANTIBODIES

(anti-Human and others as indicated)

RDI Divison of Fitzgerald Industries Intl  offers a wide line of  antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (neutralization, blotting, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below.

BULK QUOTES ON REQUEST

Clone#/(isotype) 17B6 (IgG1), 10H5 (IgG2a), 1G6 (IgG2b),

                            3G1 (IgG1), 10D12 (IgG1), 5B8 (IgG1)

                            7B9 (IgG2b), 8G7 (IgG1), 6G5 (IgG1)

                            11C10 (IgG1), 6F1 (IgG1), 9F5 (IgG1)

These clones have been derived from hybridization of Sp 2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells of Balb/c mice immunized with human GPBB.

Specificity: Clones 7B9, 8G7, 6G5, 11C10 and 1G6) are specific for the BB isoenzyme. The other clones also recognize to varying extents the MM isoenzyme as well. The best combination for Elisa are:

Capture Mab        Detection MaB

1G6                        6F1

1G6                        9F5

1G6                      17B6

Background: GPBB-sensitive marker for the AMI diagnosis within 4 hours after the onset of chest pain. It has also been shown that GPBB increased in a considerable proportion of AMI patients within 2-3 hhours from chest pain onset. GPBB increased early in patients with unstable angina. GPBB can be also a sensitive marker for the detection of peri-operative myocardial ischaemia and infraction in patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting.

Application: -Western blot: 3G1, 10H5, 10D12, 17B6

Purification: Purified by chromatography on protein A Sepharose.   Purity is tested by electrophoresis.

Presentation: Each vial contains 1 milligram antibodies with   concentration (see batch sheet) in PBS, pH 7.4, containing 0.1% of sodium azide as preservative.   Store at +4C.

Material safety note: This product is sold as an antibody preparation for research purpose only. Standard Laboratory Practices should be followed when handling this material. Contains sodium azide (0.1%) as preservative. Although the amount of sodium azide is very small appropriate care must be taken when handling this product.

GPBB-sensitive marker for the AMI diagnosis within 4 hours after the onset of chest pain. It has also been shown that GPBB increased in a considerable proportion of AMI patients within 2-3 hhours from chest pain onset. GPBB increased early in patients with unstable angina. GPBB can be also a sensitive marker for the detection of perioperative myocardial ischaemia and infraction in patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting.

Package: solution in 1mM beta-glycerophosphate, 1mM EDTA, 15mM ME,   0.5M NaCL ph7.8, 50% glycerol. water.

Purity: >95% as determined by a 10-20% gradient SDS-PAGE. The   immunological reactivity was confirmed with a monoclonal   antibody that is specific for the GPBB.

USE: Suitable as a standard in immunoassay for early detection of acute myocardial infarction, as an immunogen for antisera production and as a tracer for iodination.

Storage: Store at -20 DEG C. Avoid frequent freeze thaw cycles.

Warning: Made with human heart tissue. Blood samples from tissue donors were tested and found negative for HbSAg, HIV-1 and HIV-2 antibodies and HCV. Treat as if capable of transmitting infection Handle at Biosafety Level II conditions.
