ANTIBODIES
(anti-Human and others as indicated)
RDI Divison of researchd Industries Intl offers a wide line of antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (neutralization, blotting, histochemistry, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below.
RDI-CD117-A5 57A5 --- mIgG1 purified $312.00
RDI-CD117-A5BT 57A5 --- mIgG1 Biotin $344.00
RDI-CD117-A5PE 7A5 --- mIgG1 PE $500.00
RDI-CD117abRM SP10 -- rabbit monoclonal $438.00
cat#RDI-CD117-A5 $312.00/vial 100ug $281.00/vial 3+
cat#RDI-CD117-A5BT $344.00/vial 100ug Biotin conjugated
RDI-CD117-A5PE $500.00/120T PE conjugated
-clone 57A5 recognizes epitope 2 of the CD117 molecule of about 150kd.
-mIgG1
-sutiable for flow cytometry, immunoprecipitation and frozen sections
-does not block binding of SCF
ref: Leukocyte Typing VI, Garland Publishing Inc New York (1997) p 816-818
cat# RDI-CD117abRM $438.00/0.5ml
RDI-CD117abRM1 $750.00/1ml
Presentation: tissue culture supernatant with 15mM sodium azide
Clone ref: SP10
Isotype: rabbit IgG
Mol. Wt. Antigen: 145kDa
Immunogen: A synthetic peptide from the cytoplasmic domain of human CD117
/ c-kit protein.
Epitope: Cytoplasmic
Species Reactivity: Human, and Dog. Others not known.
Applications: -Immunohistology (Formalin/paraffin only) (Use Ab 1:40-1:100
with enhnaced detection (Staining of formalin-fixed tissues REQUIRES boiling
tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH6.0 for 10-20 min followed by cooling
at RT for 20 min.) The optimal dilution for a specific application should
be determined by the investigator
Positive Control: Skin, GI Stromal Tumor(GIST).
Cellular Localization: Cell membrane / cytoplasmic
Storage: at 2-8°C.
Description: This rabbit moncoclonal antibody does not interfere with the binding of SCF to c-kit. It precipitates both the unoccupied as well as the occupied form of c-kit. The binding of the stem cell factor (SCF) to the c-kit-encoded receptor tyrosine kinase (Type III) stimulates a variety of biochemical responses that culminate in cellular proliferation, migration, or survival. C-kit plays an important role in hematopoiesis, melanogenesis, and gametogenesis.
For Research Use Only
cat# RDI-CD117abrX $438.00/0.5mg
RDI-CD117abrX1 $688.00/1mg
RDI-CD117abrXP $750.00/1mg no BSA/NO AZIDE
RDI-CD117abrX-CP $188.00 (blocking peptide)
200ug
Presentation: Total IgG purified from rabbit anti-serum by Protein A
chromatography. Prepared at 4.0mg/ml in 10mM PBS, pH 7.4, with 0.2% BSA &
0.09% sodium azide. Also available without BSA and azide at 4mg/ml.
Mol. Wt. Antigen: 145kDa
Immunogen: A synthetic peptide from C-terminus of human CD117 / c-kit
protein.
Epitope: C-terminal
Species Reactivity: Human, and Dog. Others not known.
Applications: -Immunohistology (Formalin/paraffin only) (Use Ab (5-10ug/ml
for 30-60 min at RT) (Staining of formalin-fixed tissues REQUIRES boiling
tissue sections in 1mM EDTA, pH 8.0 or 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 10-20
min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min.) The optimal dilution for a specific
application should be determined by the investigator
Positive Control: Skin, GI Stromal Tumor(GIST).
CellularLocalization: Cell membrane / cytoplasmic
Storage: at 2-8°C.
Description: c-kit is a transmembrane receptor tyrosine kinase. It binds
to stem cell factor (SCF). It is expressed in many tissues and cells. C-kit/SCf
is involved in development of several lineages of stem cells, such as germ
cells, neural crest-derived melanocytes and hematopoietic precursor cells.
Antibody to CD117 / c-kit is very helpful in the histopathological identification
of gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST).
