ANTIBODIES
(anti-Human and others as indicated)
RDI Divison of researchd Industries Intl offers a wide line of antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (neutralization, blotting, histochemistry, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below.

SPECIFICITY Endoglin is an endothelial homodimeric membrane antigen containing the tripeptide sequence RGD, which is a recognition motif for adhesion receptors of the integrin family. It has been proposed that endoglin is a TGF-b receptor. Endoglin is a glycoprotein present on endothelial cells of capillaries, arterioles and venules in a variety of tissues and at low levels on acute lymphoblastic and myelocytic leukaemia cells
APPLICATIONS *Study of monocyte differentiation into macrophages and endoglin up-regulation*Studies in cellular adhesion of circulating blood cells*Lysis of CD105+ cells in the presence of complement*Identification of CD105 positive cells on formalin fixed paraffin wax embedded tissue sections

LOT SPECIFIC DATA
PRESENTATION The monoclonal is presented at a concentration of 200µg/2ml in phosphate buffered saline containing 10mM sodium azide and 1mg/ml bovine serum albumin. We recommend that each laboratory determine an optimum working titre for use in its particular application.
STORAGE For use within 1 month of purchase store at +4oC, for long term storage aliquot antibody into small volumes and store at +4oC or add an equal volume of glycerol and store at -20oC.

Package Size: 100ug purified in 0.2ml (0.5mg/ml) 10mMPBS (pH7.2), 150mM NaCl
and 0.09% sodium azide. (sodium azide is toxic, dilute azide compounds with
copious amounts of water when disposing in drain to avoid accumulation of
explosive deposits-avoid contact with acids.)
Prep: purified from tissue culture supernatant via Protein G affinity
chromatography.
Species: mouse IgG1k
CLONE: 266
Workshop Code: not applicable
Activity: Reacts with a homodimeric integral membrane protein comprised of
95Kd subunits (CD105). CD105 is a component of the TGF-B receptor system
and can bind TGF-B1 and TGF-B3 with high affinity but does not bind TGF-B2.
CD105 is expressed by vascular endothelial cells and syncytiotrophoblasts
of placenta and is weakly expressed by stromalfibroblasts. U937 cells and
activated macrophages also expresses CD105. Expression of CD105 is increased
on activated endothelium in tissues undergoing angiogenesis, ,such as in
tumors, or in cases of wound healing or dermal inflammation. This antibody
is suitable for formalin fixed parrafin embedded tissue sections without
pretreatment (using ABC detection, DAB, positive control tissue human thymus).
Application: -Indirect immunofluorescence cell surface staining
- histochemistry (5-10ug/ml)
Titer for each application
