CD CLUSTERED ANTIBODIES

(anti-Human and others as indicated)

NOTE: Please inquire for bulk or custom formulations (without preservative or carrier).

RDI Div of Fitzgerald Industries Intl (Research Diagnostics Inc)  offers a wide line of  antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (flow cytometry, neutralization, blotting, histochemistry, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below. All products are for in vitro research use only-not for use in or on humans or animals-not for use in diagnostics. Price/availability/specifications subject to change without notice.

MOUSE MONOCLONAL ANTIBODY TO: HUMAN CD81

PRODUCT CODE         RDI-CBL579    $375.00

CLONE                          I.3.3.22

ISOTYPE                       IgG1

IMMUNIZING ANTIGEN   B cell line derived from Burkitt lymphoma

FUSION PARTNER             NS1 myeloma cells

SOURCE                               Tissue culture supernatent

PURIFICATION METHOD  Protein A affinity chromatography

SPECIFICITY The antibody reacts with the human CD81 (TAPA-1) a 24kDa member of the TM4 super family of proteins with four transmembrane domains. The antibody has been shown to have anti-proliferative effects on different lymphoid cell lines particularly those of large cell lymphoma derivation.

APPLICATIONS               * Flow cytometry* Immunoprecipitation

LOT SPECIFIC

PRESENTATION The monoclonal is presented at a concentration of  2 X 100ug/1ml in phosphate buffered saline containing 10mM sodium azide and 1mg/ml bovine serum albumin. We recommend that each laboratory determine an optimum working titre for use in its particular application.

STORAGE For use within 1 month of purchase store at +4oC, for long term storage aliquot antibody into small volumes and store at -20oC.

Log fluorescence profile of peripheral blood lymphocytes analysed on a Coulter EPICS XL flow cytometer

DATA SHEET: mouse anti-human CD81 clone JS-81

Catalog#: RDI-CD81-JS     $281.00/vial      Bulk on request

Package Size: 100ug purified in 0.2ml (0.5mg/ml) 50mM Tris-Hcl (pH 8.0), 0.15M NaCl and 0.09% sodium azide. (sodium azide is toxic, dilute azide compounds with copious amounts of water when disposing in drain to avoid accumulation of explosive deposits-avoid contact with acids.)

Prep: purified from tissue culture supernatant via Protein G affinity chromatography.

Species: mouse IgG1k

CLONE: JS-81

Workshop Code: Workshop V, B070

Activity: Reacts with a 22kd, type III transmembrane protein (also known as TAPA-1) that is involved in cell growth and signal transduction. CD81 has a very broad cellular distribution, being expressed on cells of hematopoietic, neuroectodermal and mesenchymal origin.

Application: -Indirect immunofluorescence cell surface staining , Titer for each application

DATA SHEET: mouse anti-human CD81 clone 1D6

Catalog#:  RDI-CD81-1D6       $500.00/vial  200ug

                 RDI-CD81-1D6FT  $469.00/vial 100ug FITC

                 RDI-CD81-1D6X     $1125.00/1mg no azide/no BSA

Package Size: Protein G purified IgG in PBS with BSA & 0.09% sodium azide. (sodium azide is toxic, dilute azide compounds with copious amounts of water when disposing in drain to avoid accumulation of explosive deposits- avoid contact with acids.)

Prep: purified IgG by Protein G from tissue culture supernatant

Species: mouse IgG1

CLONE: 1D6

Antigen: OCI-LY8 cells aggregated by clone 5A6 (another CD81 antibody)

Fusion Partner: Spleen cells from immunized Balb/c mice were fused with cells of the mouse PX3/Ag.8653 myeloma cell line.

Activity: recognises human CD81, a 26kD cell surface antigen also known as TAPA-1, and a member of the tetraspanin family. CD81 is widely expressed on human leucocytes and appears to be involved in a variety of cellular leucocytes and appears to be involved in a variety of cellular processes, including adhesion, activation, proliferation and differentiation.

Clone 1D6 is a potent CD81 reagent, induces homotypic adhesion and has powerful anti proliferative effects.

Species: also sees chimpanzee (others not known)

Application: -Indirect immunofluorescence cell surface Staining , use approx 10ul to label 1 million cells.

-histochemistry frozen and paraffin sections

-western blot (1ug/ml)

-immunoprecipitation

-functional assay (recommend azide free material)

Titer for each application

-not tested for other application
