ANTIBODIES
(anti-Human and others as indicated)
NOTE: Please inquire for bulk or custom formulations (without preservative or carrier).
RDI Division of Fitzgerald Industries Intl offers a wide line of antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (flow cytometry, neutralization, blotting, histochemistry, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below. All products are for in vitro research use only-not for use in or on humans or animals-not for use in diagnostics. Price/availability/specifications subject to change without notice.

DATA SHEET: Mouse anti-human CD68
Catalog#: RDI-CD68-82A $281.00/vial
Package Size: 100ug purified in 0.2ml (0.5mg/ml) 50mM Tris-Hcl (pH 8.0),
0.15M NaCl and 0.1% sodium azide. (sodium azide is toxic, dilute azide compounds
with copious amounts of water when disposing in drain to avoid accumulation
of explosive deposits- avoid contact with acids.)
Prep: purified
Species: mouse IgG2bk
CLONE: Y1/82A Workshop Code:VI, MR23
Activity: Reacts with a 110 kd-type I transmembrane glycoprotein expressed
in cytoplasmic granules of monocytes/macrophages, dendritic cells, granulocytes,
myeloid progenitor cells and, reportedly, a subset of CD34+ hemopoietic bone
marrow progenitor cells. CD68 belongs to the sialomucin family and its function
has not been fully elucidated.
-tissue localization: expressed strongly in cytoplasmic granules and weakly on the surface of monocytes, macrophages, neutrophils, eosinophils, and a subpopulation of B cells.
Application: -Indirect immunofluorescence cell surface staining (flow cytometry), pos control permeabilzed peripheral blood monocytes
-acetone
fixed frozen tissue sections

suitable for frozen and paraffin sections (paraffin sectiosn require hightemp antigen release with citrate buffer, approx 1:200-1:400 dilution with ABC detection, membrane staining). Stain macrophages in various tissues including Kupffers cells and in the red pupl of the spleen, laina propia of the gut, lung alveoli and bone marrow. The antibody reacts with myeloid precursors and peripheral blood granulocytes and monocytes.
