ANTIBODIES
(anti-Human and others as indicated)
NOTE: 10% Discount on purchases of 3 or more any combination of CD antibodies. Please inquire for bulk or custom formulations (without preservative or carrier).
RDI Division of Fitzgerald Industries Intl offers a wide line of antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (flow cytometry, neutralization, blotting, histochemistry, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below. All products are for in vitro research use only-not for use in or on humans or animals-not for use in diagnostics. Price/availability/specifications subject to change without notice.

PRODUCT CODE : RDI- CBL 485 $438.00/vial 200ug
CLONE: 44H6
ISOTYPE: IgG1
SOURCE: Tissue culture supernatent.
Immunizing Antigen: Hoon pre-B leukamia cell line
Fusion Partner: Tissue culture supernatant
PURIFICATION METHOD: Protein A affinity chromatography.
SPECIFICITY: The antibody reacts with the 150kDa VLA-a-4 chain which is
associated with the CD29 molecule in the VLA-4 complex. Expressed on ALL
and AML cells, T and B-cells, monocytes, thymocytes and Langerhans cells.
There is no reactivity with human kidney or brain sections.
APPLICATIONS:
* FACS and immunoprecipitation studies of CDw49d antigen.
-This antibody will induce homotypic aggregation

PRESENTATION: Each monoclonal is delivered in a sealed vial at a concentration
of 200ug milligrams in 2ml in phosphate buffered saline with 10mM sodium
azide and 1mg/ml BSA. We recommend that each laboratory determine an optimum
working titre for use in its particular application. Additional care should
be taken with any preservative free material to reduce bacterial contamination
(optional).
STORAGE: Purified monoclonal antibodies are generally stable for long periods
at 4oC. However repeated warming to room temperature and re-cooling may result
in a loss of activity and hence effective working titre. It is recommended
that monoclonal antibodies are aliquotted upon receipt and then stored at
-20C. After thawing they should then be used as a stock solution for up to
60 days. Dilute working solutions are best prepared on the day of use.
For research use only. Not supplied for use in human diagnostic or therapeutic
procedures
Also available in bulk, with or without BSA or preservative.

Clone: BU49
Isotype: IgG1
Immunizing Antigen: Hyatt myeloma cell line.
Fusion Partner: NSO myeloma cell line.
Source: Tissue culture supernatant
Purification Methods: Protein A affinity chromatography.
Specificity: The antibody recognises the 150 kDa VLA-a-4 chain (lymphocyte
homing receptor) which is associated with the CD29 molecule in the VLA-4
complex. The antigen is expressed on ALL and AML cells, T and B cells,
monocytes, thymocytes and Langerhans cells. There is no r reactivity with
human kidney or brain sections.
Applications: Suitable for basic studies of VLA-4 FACS and immunoprecipitation
studies of CDw49d antigen.
References: Leucocyte typing VI (1997) in press.
Presentation: The monoclonal is presented at a concentration of 200 ug/2ml
in phosphate buffered saline containing 10mM sodium azide and 1 mg/ml bovine
serum albumin. We recommend that each laboratory determine an optimum
working titre for use in its particular application.
Storage: For use within 1 month of purchase store at +4'C, for long term
storage aliquot antibody into small volumes and store at -20'C.
-Bulk, no azide, no BSA available upon request, cat#RDI-CBL536-1XP $1062.00/1mg)

cat# RDI-CD49D-HP21 $594.00
Presentation: 200ug in 1ml (1mg/ml) phosphate Buffered Saline pH7.4 with 0.09% Sodium Azide
Clone Number: HP2/1
Purified: IgG prepared by affinity chromatography on Protein G Buffer:
Immunogen: JM leukaemia line
Fusion Partners: Spleen cells from immunised BALB/c mice were fused with cells of the X63 Ag8.653 myeloma cell line.
Isotype: IgG1 (Mouse)
Specificity: MAB recognises the 80kD alpha chain of VLA-4. Reacts with monocytes, T cells, B cells, thymocytes and Langerhans cells. Can be used in basic studies of VLA-4 mediated adhesion and its interaction with the VCAM-1 structure. HP2/1 inhibits cell binding to soluble VCAM-1.
Species Cross: Clone is reported to cross react with porcine (4), rhesus monkey (7, 9), bovine (6) and rat (8).
N.B. Antibody reactivity and working conditions may vary between species.
Applications: This product has been reported to work in the following applications. This information is derived from testing within producer laboratories, from peer-reviewed publications or from personal communications from antibody originators. Please refer to references indicated for further information
Flow Cytometry 1ug/5 x 10 E05 cells
Immunohistology - frozen (approx 10ug/ml)
-not tested for paraffin sections - paraffin
-Immunoprecipitation
-Western Blotting: not tested
storage: This product should be stored undiluted. Storage in frost free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
Safety: This product contains sodium azide: a POISONOUS AND HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCE which should be handled by trained staff only. Where this antibody has not been tested for use in a particular technique this does not necessarily exclude its use in such procedures. Suggested working dilutions are given as a guide only. It is recommended that the user titrates the antibody for use in their own system using appropriate negative/positive controls.
