CYTOKERATIN
ANTIBODIES
(anti-Human and others as indicated)
RDI Divison of researchd Industries Intl offers a wide line of antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (neutralization, blotting, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below.
ANTI-CYTOKERATIN 2E
see also clone Ks 2.342.7.4 & RDI-PROGPCK2E
Clone Determination Ks 2.398.3.1
Category
Mouse monoclonal
Immunoglobulin
Class IgG1
Purification
Hybridoma culture supernatant
Antigen Synthetic peptide (N-terminal amino acids Nos. 2-23) of human
cytokeratin 2e (MW 65,852)
Specificity
Ks2.398.3.1 represents an
excellent marker to study terminal epidermal differentiation. The mab is
reactive with epidermal cells in uppermost supra-basal layers including scalp,
foot and sole. It recognizes individual cells within epidermis of tongue
and mamille (co-localization with cytokeratin 10). It is also reactive on
hyperkeratosis of diverse viral and genetic origin.
The mab does not react with palate cytokeratin 2p.
Antigen recognized in species (tested so far) Only reactive on human tissue;
bovine, mouse, rat, Xenopus laevis are negative.
Application Suitable for · Immunoblotting (Western)
· Immunohistochemistry
Working Dilution
1:150 for immunohistochemistry
Storage At
4°C
Volume
1 ml
