Antigen Isolated from HeLa cells


Clinical Application/Specificity Mab specifically recognizes glandular epithelial cells from the gastrointestinal tract, the respiratory tract and the urogenital tract, as well as endocrine and exocrine tissues and myoepithelial cells. No reaction with stratified squamous epithelia. In the transitional epithelium of the bladder RGE 53 reacts only with superficial (umbrella) cells.The antibody is useful for the discrimination of adenocarcinomas and meso-theliomas from squamous cell carcinoma and non-epithelial tumors.
