ANTIBODIES
(anti-Human and others as indicated)
RDI Division of Fitzgerald Industries Intl offers a wide line of antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (neutralization, blotting, histochemistry, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below.
NA CA Exchanger (see below 1 polyclonal and 2 monoclonals)
BATCH SHEET: Mouse anti-NA CA Exchanger Protein (clone ref#R3F1) monkey/horse/dog/rat/bovine/mouse
Catalog#: RDI-NACAEXCH-F1, new cat#: 10R-N101a Price: $724.50/vial
Packaging: 1 X 200 microliters lyophilized concentrated supernatant (no preservatives) approx 140 micrograms IgG
Reconstitution: with 200ul distilled water
Species: mouse IgG1
Antigen: canine cardiac sarcolemmal NA+ CA+ exchanger
recognizes two neighboring but non-overlapping sequences of the hydrophilic
region of the exchanger, connecting the putatative transmembrane segments 5 and 6. The antibody was evaluated
for specificity and potency by immunobloting and immunoprecipitation. It recognizes virtually only NCX1 in
monkey, horse, dog, rat, bovine an dmouse tissue. At
higher concentrations it reacts faintly with NCX2, whereas NCX3 is not
recognized. Both splice variants with exon A (heart,
nervous system) and exon B (kidney, glia) are recognized.
ses: Immunoblots: 1:1000-1:5000 (for chemiluminesece detection, recommend starting 1:5K). A strong band 70kda is found in addition to the 116kda of the integral exchanger. Of the HMW band is a double band 116/112kda band
immunoprecipitation:1K-5K
cytochemistry: 1:1000 +with avidin biotin (ABC) method
-on cultured neonatal rat myocytes, 1:1000 dilution shows strong staining of the plasmalemma.
Optimal dilutions must be determined by the end user for their particular application.
