RDI Divison of Fitzgerald Industries Intl  offers a wide line of  antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (neutralization, blotting, histochemistry, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. ANTI-Human  Ca2+ ATPase  Antibody (SERCA 3)

SOURCE: Tissue culture supernatent.

PURIFICATION METHOD: Protein A affinity chromatography.

SPECIFICITY: Specifically inhibits the uptake of calcium by membrane vesicles (80%) with affecting Ca2+ + Mg2+ ATPase activity of the phosphorylation of the 100kDa polypeptide. The antibody has the capacity to distinguish in membranes and cells between ATPase Ca2+ translocating channel and the Ins P2 Ca2+ release channel.

APPLICATIONS:

-* Studies of platelet intracellular membrane Ca2+ + Mg2+ ATPase and the Ca2+ translocating channel protein.

-Studies of the two known trypsin fragment patterns attributed to the 97kDa ISO forms of sarco/ endoplasmic reticulum CA2+ ATPases (SERCAs) whihc has suggested that there may exist a multi-SERCA system in different human non-muscle cells.

PRESENTATION: Each monoclonal is delivered in a sealed vial at a concentration of 200µg/2ml in phosphate buffered saline containing 10mM sodium azide and 1mg/ml BSA. We recommend that each laboratory determine an optimum working titre for use in its particular application.

STORAGE: Purified monoclonal antibodies are generally stable for long periods at 4oC. However repeated warming to room temperature and re-cooling may result in a loss of activity and hence effective working titre. It is recommended that monoclonal antibodies are aliquotted upon receipt and then stored at -20C. After thawing they should then be used as a stock solution for up to 30 days. Dilute working solutions are best prepared on the day of use.

package: 100ul of peptide affinity purified antibody in PBS with 1mg/ml BSA and 0.05% NaN3.

Specificity: recognizes the SERCA3 ATPase in rat and human using overexpressed recombinant rat and human material. No cross with other Serca Atpase isoforms.

Use: -Western blot 1:500 recognizes approx 97Kda band when using recombinant standard, recommend using enhanced chemiluminescence detection (overnight 4 DEG C)

Storage: Store at -20 DEG C upon receipt. Avoid frequent freeze thaw cycles. Recommend aliquoting. BEFORE OPENING, suggest centrifuging for 1 minute at 1000 RPM to concentrate material in vial.
