ANTIBODIES
(anti-Human and others as indicated)
RDI Division of Fitzgerald Industries Intl offers a wide line of antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (neutralization, blotting, histochemistry, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below.
CA 2+ ATPase isoforms (1, 2, 3 & 4)
Rabbit anti-Ca2+ -ATPase, isoform 1
Code#: RDI-PMCA1abr $625.00/1 vial
Form: Lyophilized whole serum (no preservatives).
Quantity: 200 ul.
Reconstitution: with 200 ul of bidistilled water.
Description: The antiserum against Ca2+ -ATPase, isoform 1, was produced in
rabbits by immunization with the N-terminal sequence-specific peptide of the
human pump as epitope. It recognizes the corresponding proteins in human, rat
and mouse tissue. The antibody was evaluated for specificity and potency : a) by Biotin-Avidin labelling of
cryostate-sections of 4% para-formaldehyde fixed tissue and b) by
immunoenzymatic labelling of Western blots. It can also be used for
immunoprecipitation. The serum was inactivated at 50'C for 30 minutes.
Working dilutions: Immunohistochemistry: 1: 1'000 - 1:2'000.
Immunoblots: 1: 1'000 - 1:2'000.
For immunohistochemistry and immunoblots the titer was determined by using
the avidin-biotin method. We recommend that the optimal dilutions be determined
by titration experiments.
Storage: After reconstitution freeze in small aliquots (e.g. 1ul) and keep at
-80'C (or at least - 20'C). For continuous use keep at 4'C
(with 0.01% Na-azide). Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
