ANTIBODIES
(anti-Human and others as indicated)
RDI Division of Fitzgerald Industries Intl offers a wide line of antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (neutralization, blotting, histochemistry, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below.
Mouse anti-CA ATPase SERCA 1 Monoclonal ab
cat# RDI-CATP1/2H11 $469.00/vial
Background: The ATP pumps that reside in intracellular organelles are encoded
by a family of structurally related enzymes, termed the sarcoplasmic or
endoplasmic reticulin CA+ (SERCA) ATPases. The Serca1 gene is exclusively
expressed in type II (fast) skeletal muscle.
isotype: mIgG1
clone: IIH11
package: 100ul of diluted ascites fluid with 0.05% sodium azide added
antigen: produced from a fusion of NS-1 myeloma cells and spleen cells from
Balb/c mice immunized with purified rabbit skeletal muscle sarcoplasmic
reticulum.
Specificity: recognizes the SerCA1 ATPase in tissues as shown below. It epitope
maps to region between amino acids 199 and 505 of rabbbit skeletal muscle
ATPase, a region that is not exposed in native sarcoplasmic reticulum.
This clone has been used in western blot and immunofluorescence to detect
the Serca1 ATPase. By western blot, the antibody recognizes a single 100kDa
band. In immunofluorescence, strongly lables the entire type II (fast) myofiber.
Reactive with: Rat, Canine, Mouse, Guinea pig, and rabbit Serca1 and Type
II (fast).
Use: -Western blot 1:2500
-Immunofluorescence: 1:500 .
Storage: Store at -20 DEG C upon receipt. Avoid frequent freeze thaw cycles.
Recommend aliquoting. BEFORE OPENING, suggest centrifuging for 1 minute at
1000 RPM to concentrate material in vial.

Also available: antibodies to NA K ATPase and CA ATPASE (sera 1 , serca 2 and
serca 3).
