ANTIBODIES
(anti-Human and others as indicated)
RDI Division of Fitzgerald Industries Intl offers a wide line of antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (neutralization, blotting, histochemistry, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below.
CALCIUM CHANNEL ANTIBODIES
Rabbit anti-Human Calcium Channel (TYPE N)
Background: Anti-human N-type Ca channel alpha subunit IgG fraction antibodies
were raised in rabbits agianst three peptides, designated A, B and C. These
peptides were originally recognized in rat brain Ca channels (ref 1).
cat# RDI-CACHAN9Aabr $438.00
RDI-CACHAN9Babr $438.00
RDI-CACHAN9Cabr $438.00
Packaging: 1 milligram IgG fraction in 1ml 0.1M Tris-Hcl, pH 7.5.
Species: rabbit IgG purified by Protein G Sepharose chromatography.
Antigen: each of the above antibodies were made individually with a synthetic
peptide, designated A, B and C (respectively).
Specificity: human and rat. recognizes the alpha-1
subunit of the type N Calcium channel by immunoprecipitation.
Uses: Optimal dilutions must be determined by the end user for their particular
application.

Storage: Store at -20 DEG C. AVOID FREQUENT FREEZE THAW CYCLES.
Mouse anti-Calcium Channel ALPHA 2-Subunit Monoclonal ab
cat# RDI-CACHANA2abm, new cat#: 10R-C201A $525.00/vial
Packaging: 200 microliters in 100mM Hepes, 20nM Na-Citrate pH 7.4 with 0.05%
NaN3.
Species: mouse IgG2b
Antigen: A2 subunit Ca Channel protein purified from the T- tubular membranes
of rabbit skeletal muscles.
Specificity: specific for the calcium channel of skeletal muscles in: fish,
frog, chicken, pig, sheep, bovine, guinea pig, mouse rat and human. It does
cross react with the calcium channel of other tissue including brain, cardiac
muscle, uterus and tracea.
Uses:
-Immunoblots: 1:5000-1:10000 (blots a polypeptide of 135 Kda corresponding to the Alpha 2 subunit of the Ca-channel).
Immunohistochemistry: 1:5000- 1:10000 with avidin biotin method
Optimal dilutions must be determined by the end user for their particular application.

Storage: For long term storage, keep small portions (1-2ul) at -80 DEG C or at least -20 DEG C. For continuous use keep at 4 DEG C (with 0.01% Na-azide). AVOID FREQUENT REEZE THAW CYCLES.
Additional product of interest: partially purified Ca channel.
