Cytokeratin 7 (clone ks 7.18) antibodies

28th Aug 2021

RDI Divison of researchd Industries Intl offers a wide line of antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (neutralization, blotting, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below.

ANTI-CYTOKERATIN 7

Mab to Cytokeratin 7 cat#RDI-PRO61025 $375.00/50ug

Clone Determination Ks 7.18

Category Mouse monoclonal

Immunoglobulin Class IgG1

Purification SpAss Protein A (recombinant)

Antigen Cytoskeletal proteins from cultured HeLa cells

Special Note Ks 7.18 represents an excellent marker for the discrimination of specific

subtypes of adenocarcinoma: Eg adeno-CA of pancreas, bile duct

CA and transitional CA of bladder are positively stained, whereas colorectal,

hepatocellular and prostate CA are negative

Application Suitable for frozen and paraffin embedded tissue Cytological material

Stability/Storage One year after reconstitution when stored at 4°C

Quantity 50µg (lyoph.)

Polypeptide Reacting MR 54 000 polypeptide (cytokeratin no.7) of human glandular epithelia

Antigen Recognized in Species

(tested so far) Human, bovine, pig, sheep; not with dog, rabbit, rat, mouse

Reactivities on Cultured

Cell Lines (tested so far) HeLa, RT 112, T24, BT-20, CAMA-1 Detroit 562, (MCF-7, HT-29, are negative)

Tumors Specifically Detected Specific subtypes of adeno-CA: Adeno-CA of pancreas, gallbladder, lung, cervix; cholangio-CA of liver; ductal and lobular CA of breast; CA of ovary; transitional cell CA of bladder; mesothelioma; negative with colorectal Adeno CA and most cases of hepatocellular CA. Occasionally, staining of blood vessel walls, particularly of endothelial cells may be observed.

Application Suitable for frozen and paraffin (P) embedded tissue ,Cytological material Pretreatment With paraffin embedded sections, protease pretreatment is required prior to antibody application Working Dilution When reconstituted with 1ml destilled water, dilute 1:50 (at least) with PBS, pH 7.4 for use in immunohistochemistry Incubation Time 1h at RT, extended with P (over night at 4°C)
