ANTI-MONKEY

RDI Division of Fitzgerald Industries Intl offers a wide line of antibodies. In many situations, you may need a labelled secondaty antibody for the particular application. You can access below "SOME" of the various specialty antibodies we can provide. In most situations, the antibodies probably found in your lab will work fine, however, in special situations, you may need one of these specialty reagents (especially when working with antibodies on various animal tissues). We offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below.

-Anti-Monkey Antibodies

-These antibodies to monkey immunoglobulins specifically recognize immunoglobulins from Old World monkeys. Included in this listing are the following animals, Macaque, Cynomologus, Rhesus, Baboon, Chimpanzee, Great Ape and other african species. Reactivity is GREATLY REDUCED against NEW WORLD monkeys such as marmosets, Tamarins, Capuchins or Squirrel Monkey.

Storage Conditions: Store vial at 4 DEG C prior to opening. This product is stable for several weeks at 4ø C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. For extended storage aliquot contents and freeze at -20ø C or below. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Expiration date is one (1) year from date of opening product.

Purity: This product was prepared from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography using Monkey IgM coupled to agarose beads followed by solid phase adsorption(s) to remove any unwanted reactivities. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Goat Serum, Monkey IgG and Monkey Serum. No reaction was observed against Monkey IgM or Monkey IgA. Specificity was confirmed by ELISA at less than 1% cross reactivity against other monkey heavy or light chain isotypes.

Immunogen: Monkey IgG gamma chain

Specificity: Immunogen was purified from Rhesus Monkey serum. Cross-reactivity will occur with closely related primates.
