Anti-RAT
CD CLUSTERED
ANTIBODIES
RDI Division of Fitzgerald Industries Intl offers a wide line of antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (flow cytometry, neutralization, blotting, histochemistry, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below. All products are for in vitro research use only-not for use in or on humans or animals-not for use in diagnostics. Price/availability/specifications subject to change without notice.

LOT# see batch sheet
Package Size: 500ug purified with 0.09% NaN3
Species: mouse balb/c IgG1k
CLONE: OX-7
Activity: This monoclonal reacts with mouse and rat CD90 (Thy-1.1 antigen).
In the rat, THY-1.1 is expressed by hematopoietic stem cells, immature B
lymphocytes in the bone marrow and peripheral lymphoid organs, thymocytes
and recent emigrants (a subset of CD45RC- peripheral T cells). In the mouse,
THY-1.1 is found on thymocytes, all peripheral thymoctes, some intraepithelial
T lymphocytes (IEL, DEC) and hematopoietic stem cells, but not B cells, in
strains expressing the THY1.1 allotype (eg, AKR/J, PL). Does not cross with
THY1-2.
Application: Indirect immunofluorescence cell surface staining.
-histochemistry (acetone fixed frozen and paraffin embedded sections 1-20ug/ml)
Storage: Store at 4 DEG C for up to 30 days. Prolonged storage at -20 DEG
C. Avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles.
Precautions: For In vitro research Use Only. Not for use in or on humans
or animals or for diagnostics.

also FITC labeled cat#RDI-RTCD90-HIFT $625.00/0.5mg
Package Size: 500ug purified in 1.0ml (0.5mg/ml) 10mM phosphate buffer and
0.09% sodium azide.
Species: mouse balb/c IgG1k
CLONE: HIS51
Immunogen: Mouse (BALB/c) IgG2ak
Purification: affinity purified from TCS
Background: The HIS51 antibody reacts with the rat Thy-1 antigen (CD90)1
expressed by hematopoietic stem cells, early myeloid and erythroid cells, immature
B lymphocytes in the bone marrow and peripheral lymphoid organs, thymocytes,
recent thymic emigrants (a subset of CD45RC - peripheral T cells), neurons,
glomerular mesangial cells, endothelium at inflammatory sites, mast cells,
and bone marrow-derived dendritic cells.9 Rat dendritic epidermal T cells
(DEC) are Thy-1 negative. CD90 is a GPI-anchored membrane glycoprotein of
the Ig superfamily which is involved in signal transduction. In addition,
there is evidence in the mouse that CD90 mediates adhesion of thymocytes
to thymic stroma. Clone HIS51 antibody cross-reacts with the mouse Thy-1.1
alloantigen of the AKR/J and PL strains, but not Thy-1.2 found on most strains.
In the mouse, CD90 is found on thymocytes, most peripheral T lymphocytes,
some intraepithelial T lymphocytes (IEL, DEC), hematopoietic stem cells,
and neurons, but not B lymphocytes.
Use: -FACS staining (1 µg/1 million cells) with flow cytometric
-immunohistochemical staining (IHC) of frozen, formalin-, and zinc-fixed paraffin-embedded sections
-and in vivo induction of glomerulonephritis in the rat (in vivo must remove azide and sterile filter).
