Anti-RAT
CD CLUSTERED ANTIBODIES

RDI Division of Fitzgerald Industries Intl  offers a wide line of  antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (flow cytometry, neutralization, blotting, histochemistry, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below. All products are for in vitro research use only-not for use in or on humans or animals-not for use in diagnostics. Price/availability/specifications subject to change without notice.

Anti-RAT  CD63  Antibodies

DATA SHEET:   mouse anti-Rat CD 63 clone (AD-1)

Catalog#: RDI-RTCD63-AD1   $281.00/vial

Package Size: 100ug in 0.2ml (0.5mg/ml) buffer with 0.09% sodium azide

Species: mouse IgG1k

Immunogen: Rat basophilic leukemia cell line (RBL-2H3) fused with cells of NSO myeloma cell line.

CLONE: AD-1

Purity: purified from TCS by affinity chromatography

Activity: The AD1 antibody reacts with a 50 60 kDa protein that is a homolog (87%) of human CD63 (melanoma-associated antigen ME491). CD63, a highly glycosylated type-III lysosomal glycoprotein, is a member of the tetraspan transmembrane superfamily (TM4SF) that also includes CD9, CD37, and CD53. In the rat, CD63 is expressed on mast cells and platelets.CD63 is also found on rat embryonic fibroblasts and hepatic cell, along with cultured cell lines of diverse origin (e.g., liver, lung, and heart). Expression is upregulated with culture. CD63 is expressed in close proximity to the Fc RI on rat mast cells and has been shown to partially inhibit IgE-mediated histamine release. The function of CD63 has not been fully characterized.

Application: -Indirect fluorescence (approx 1ug/million cells) recommend amplifed detection, anti- mouse IgG:Biotin followed by Streptavidin:PE

                  -acetone fixed frozen sections

                 -immunoprecipitation,

-partial inhibition of IgE-mediated histamine release and The expression of CD63 on rat

              CD54 +

-titers must be determined for each   application

Storage: Store at 4 DEG C.

Precautions: For In vitro research Use Only. Not for use in or on humans or animals or for diagnostics.
