Species: Armenian hamster IgG

CLONE: HA1/29

Activity: reacts with the 160kDa integrin alpha 2 chain (CD49B) that is a transmembrane glycoprotein that non-covlently associates with the integrin B1 subunit (CD29) to form the A2B1 complex or VLA-2 complex. VLA-2 is a receptor for collagen and lamminin and is expressed on activated lymphocytes, on epithelial cells and on platelets. It has been reported that this clone can block VLA-2 mediated binding to collagen and laminin. Also reacts with CD49B.

Application: -Indirect immunofluorescence cell surface staining.

Storage: Store at 4 DEG C for up to 30 days. Prolonged storage at -20 DEG C. Avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles.
