Anti-RAT
CD CLUSTERED
ANTIBODIES
RDI Division of Fitzgerald Industries Intl offers a wide line of antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (flow cytometry, neutralization, blotting, histochemistry, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below. All products are for in vitro research use only-not for use in or on humans or animals-not for use in diagnostics. Price/availability/specifications subject to change without notice.
Anti-RAT CD44
Antibodies
Catalog#: RDI-rtCD44
Price: $500.00/1pkg
FITC labeled cat#RDI-rtCD44-FT
$344.00/0.1mg
Supplied: 0.5mg in 1ml (0.5mg/ml) buffer with 0.09% sodium azide.
Clone: OX-49
Ig Isotype: mouse IgG2ak
Purification: Purified from TCS by affinity chromatography
Reactivity: Reacts with the glycoprotein CD44 expressed on m ostleukocytes,
except for a subset of B lymphocytes, and at greatly increased levels on
T- and B- cell blasts. The epitope recognized by OX-49 antibody is found
in both standard CD44 (CD44s) and the splice variant (CD44v) Recent reports
have indicated that clone OX-49 antibody cannot detect the CD44v isoform,
possibly due to conformational changes in the epitope (see last 2 ref). CD44
is a cell adhesion receptor and its ligand, hyaluronate is a common component
of extracellular matrices.
USE: -flow cytometry(<1ug/1M cells)
-histochemistry (ethanol fixed frozen sections) and paraffin sections (using citrate buffer pretreatment and ABC/Dab
detection, approx 5-10ug/ml primary ab)
-note zinc fized parrafin sections may yield better staining
-immunoprecipitation

Storage: Store at 4 Deg C.
Precautions: For In vitro research Use Only. Not for use in or on humans or animals or for diagnostics. Sodium azide may form explosive compounds in presence of heavy metals or under acidic conditions. Flush drains with copious amounts of water to prevent buildup of explosive compounds.
