Activity: Reacts with the T cell receptor associtaed CD3 cell surface antigen ound on T lymphocytes. In vitro, immobilized G4.18 mAb activates rat T cells, and souluble antibody inhibits MLR and CML. In vivo treatment with clone G4.18 prevents cardiac and skin allograft rejection, resulting in donor specific tolerance.

Application:

-Indirect fluorescence (approx 1ug/1M cells)

-histochemistry on acetone fixed frozen sections (not tested on paraffin) 1-5ug/ml

-immunoprecipitation

-in vitro T cell stimulation (azide free)

-in vivo and in vitro inhibition of T cell effector functions. (azide free)

-titers must be determined for each application
