Activity: Binds rat beta 2 integrin (CD18) which is found on the majority of leukocytes as a heterodimer with any of the 3 distinct CD11A integrin subunits (CD11a/Al, CD11b/aM, CD11c/ax) to form respectively LFA-1, Mac-1 and gp150,95. The function blocking activity of WT.3 antibody has been determined in vitro assays measuring the binding of LFA-1 to ICAM-1(CD54). It has also been reported to inhibit leukocyte infiltration in an in vivo system.

Application: -Indirect immunofluorescence cell surface staining.
