Package Size: 500ug purified in 50mM Tris-Hcl (pH 8.0), 0.15M NaCl and 0.1% sodium azide. (sodium azide is toxic, dilute azide compounds with copious amounts of water when disposing in drain to avoid accumulation of explosive deposits-avoid contact with acids.)

Immunogen: PHA-Activated rat lymph node cells

Activity: Reacts with CD4+ T lymphocytes activated in vitro and in vivo. CD134 antigen is a member of the NGFR/TNFR superfamily, which includes low-affinity nerve growth factor receptors, the Fas antigen, 4-1BB, CD27, CD30 and CD40. While the clone OX-40 antibody is not mitogenic, it does augment some in vitro T cell responses. The mouse homologue of the OX-40 antigen is expressed by activated T cells, and its ligand is found on subsets of peritoneal and LPS- activated splenic B cells.
