Immunogen: Porcine Lamina Propria Leucocytes

Fusion Partners: Spleen cells from immunised BALB/c mice were fused with cells of the P3 - X63 - Ag.653 myeloma cell line.

Isotype: IgG1 (Mouse)

Specificity: recognises the porcine cell surface antigen classified as wCD11R1 and satins porcine eosinophils, a subset of neutrophils and NK cells. The wCD11R1 antigen is a 165kD molecule, identical in size to human CD11b. However, the expression pattern of CD11b in the human and wCD11R1 in the pig are different.

Species Cross  Reactivity: Cross reacts with human but distribution differs from pig.

USE: -histochemsitry (acetone fixed frozen sections) neat

         -flow cytometry 1:5

       -immunoprecipitation

       -not tested for other applications

       Titer must be optimized for each method
