ANTIBODIES
(anti-Human and others as indicated)
RDI Divison of researchd Industries Intl offers a wide line of antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (neutralization, blotting, histochemistry, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below.
dystrophic neurites surronding a senile plaque
that are histochemically stained
Background: The amyloid precursor protein (APP) is a large membrane protein whose N terminus projects into the extracellular space. In Alzheimer's disease, this protein is broken down and releases the 42 amino acid B-amyloid protein that is found in senile plaques and vessels
Catalog#: RDI-AMYPREabG
Price: $315.00/0.25ml $1125.00/ml 1 or more
Bulk on request
Package Size: neat serum
Species: Goat
Antigen: synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 44-63 of the N terminus
of the human Alzheimer's Amyloid Precursor Protein (APP)
sequence: H M N V Q N G K W D D D P S G T K T C I
(control peptide available: cat#RDI-AMYPRE-CPX $470.00/1mg)
Specificity: specific for residues 44-63 on the N- terminus of APP
Optimal titers must be determined empirically by each end user.
USE: Elisa using immunizing peptide 1:1500
histochemistry (pfa fixed frozen) 1:5K
formalin fixed paraffin 1:100
(shows immunoreactivity with APP containing neurons and will label dystrophic neurites in senile plaques).
