CLONE: KMC8

Activity: Reacts with mouse CD9, a member of the transmembrane 4 superfamily. CD9 is present on bone marrow myeloid cells, bobe marrow stromal cells, subsets of peripheral T and B cells, neutrophils, and platelets in the mouse. In humans, CD9 has been found to be assciated with integrins and other cell-surface receptors, and it is suggested to have a role in signal transduction and possibly in regulating cellular adhesive properties. The KMC8 antibody to block certain CD9 functions (azide free formulation)
