Ig Isotype: rat IgG1

Reactivity: Clone C2 reacts with the mouse transferrin receptor, the expression of which is up-regulated after B-cell or T-cell mitogenic activation. Clone C2 selectively blocks some types of T and B cell activation by down- regulation of transferrin receptor expression but it does not block binding of transferrin.

Uses: -flow cytometry (<1ug/1M cells),

function blocking studies (must remove azide by dialysis or equivalent and possibly remove any endogenous endotoxin before use as blocking agent).
