Anti-MOUSE
CD CLUSTERED ANTIBODIES

RDI Division of Fitzgerald Industries Intl  offers a wide line of  antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (flow cytometry, neutralization, blotting, histochemistry, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below. All products are for in vitro research use only-not for use in or on humans or animals-not for use in diagnostics. Price/availability/specifications subject to change without notice.

Package Size: in Tris or PBS(azide free) with 0.09%   NaN3

Clone: HM48-1

Ig Isotype: armenian Hamster IgG, group 1

Immunogen: Mouse T lymphphoma MBL-2

Reactivity: Reacts with CD48 (previously known as BCM1 in mice, BLAST-1 in human and OX-45 in rat), which is the major ligand of CD2 in mouse. CD48 is a GPI anchored membrane of the Ig superfamily and is widely distributed on leukocytes, but not on non- hematopoietic cells. Clone HM48-1 mAb blocks binding of soluble CD2 to CD48 bearing cells, inhibits spleen cells proliferative responses to mitogens, augments the proliferative response of spleen cells when cross linked with anti- CD3E mabs, and inhibits priming of CTL in vitro. In vivo administration of HM48-1 antibody can prolong survival of cardiac allografts, an effect which is greatly enhanced by the addition of anti-CD2 Mab clone 12-15. This antibody does not cross- react with rat leukocytes.

USE: -flow cytometry(<1ug/1M cell

         -immunoprecipitation

         -blocking (no azide preparation)
