Ig Isotype: rat IgG2ak

Reactivity: Reacts with the 130-kDa isoform of CD43, which is expressed on resting peripheral CD8+ T lymphocytes, activated CD4+ cells, immature thymocytes, and CD8+ thymocytes. Clone 1B11 DOES NOT recognize the 115 kDa isoform of CD43 found on all peripheral T cells, but neurominidase treatemnt unmasks a 1B11 reactive epitope on these cells. In addition to T cells, clone 1B11 reacts with some CD4- Cd8- peripheral lymphoid cells and with CD45R/B220+ and CD45/B220- cell populations in the bone marrow.

Uses: direct flow cytometry

Reactivity: Reacts with the 115-kDa isoform of CD43, which is expressed o IL-7 responsive pro B- cells, plasma cells, peritoneal and splenic CD5+ B cells (B-1 cells), granulocytes, monocytes, macrophages, platelets, natural killer cells, thymocytes, peripheral T cytotoxic/suppressor cells, and most T helper cells. CD43 is not expressed on conventional peripheral B cells.

Uses: -indirect flow cytometry

         -histochemistry on acetone fixed frozen and paraffin embedded sections (recommend using purified antibody with                   Streptavivin:Biotin detection systems.
