RDI Divison of Fitzgerald Industries Intl  offers a wide line of  antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (flow cytometry, neutralization, blotting, histochemistry, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below. All products are for in vitro research use only-not for use in or on humans or animals-not for use in diagnostics. Price/availability/specifications subject to change without notice.

Anti-MOUSE  CD42d  Antibodies

DATA SHEET:  Hamster Anti-Mouse/Rat CD42d (Platelet Glycoprotein V)

cat# RDI-MCD42D-1C2    $469.00

Presenation: 0.5mg in 1ml (0.5mg/ml) buffer with 0.09% sodium azide

Clone: 1C2

Immunogen: (C57BL/6 x DBA/2)F1 mouse platelets

Isotype: Armenian Hamster IgG3

Purification: purified from TCS by affinity chromatography

Specificity The 1C2 antibody reacts with CD42d (Platelet Glycoprotein V,GPV) a glycoprotein of 74 kDa in the mouse and 88 kDa in the rat. GPV noncovalently associates with GPIb (CD42b and c)and GPIX (CD42a)to form a receptor for von Willebrand factor on megakaryocytes and resting platelets. The binding sites for von Willebrand factor and thrombin have been localized to the GPIb a chain (CD42b)of the GPIb-V-IX complex. GPV is cleaved by thrombin to release a 69-kDa soluble fragment, which contains the epitope recognized by mAb 1C2. The 1C2 antibody does not cross-react with human platelets nor with other hematopoietic cells of the mouse and rat. Use of anti-mouse CD41 mAb MWReg30 may be used with mAb 1C2 to monitor mouse megakaryocyte maturation.

Use: -flow cytometry:1ug/million cells

         -acetone fixed frozen sections

Storage: Undiluted at 4 DEG C
