Immunogen: A.TH. mouse CTL clone A15.1.17

Activity: Reacts with mouse CD4 (L3T4) antigen expressed on thymocytes and a subpopulation of mature T cells from all mouse strains tested. Mab H129.19 inhbits various responses of T helper cells to antigenic or mitogenic stimuli.

USES; -Flow cytomtery (approx 1ug/million cells)

            -immunoprecipitation

           -immunohistochemistry (acetone fixed frozen sections, approx 1-5ug/ml).

            -histochemistry of zinc fixed paraffin sections (formalin fixed paraffin sections not recommended)

            -blocking experiments (must be dialyzed or use azide free formulation).

            -in vivo depletion of T helper cells
