Anti-MOUSE
CD CLUSTERED
ANTIBODIES
RDI Division of Fitzgerald Industries Intl offers a wide line of antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (flow cytometry, neutralization, blotting, histochemistry, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below. All products are for in vitro research use only-not for use in or on humans or animals-not for use in diagnostics. Price/availability/specifications subject to change without notice.
Anti-MOUSE CD30
Antibodies
Catalog#: RDI-MCD30-2D $281.00
Package Size: 100ug in 0.2ml (0.5mg/ml) with 0.1% NaN3
Clone: mcd30.1 (also known as 2SH12-5F-2D)
Ig Isotype: Armenian Hamster IgG group 1
Immunogen: fusion protein of mouse CD30-mIgG1
Reactivity: reacts with CD30, a member of the TNFR family. The CD30 moleculae
is predominantly expressed by activated T cells, with its expression peaking
at day 4-5 on spleen cells activated with plate bound anti-CD3E ab. The mCD30.1
antibody reacts with a majority of CD8+ T cells, as well as some CD4+ T cells
in these cultures. By northern blot analysis, mouse CD30 mRNA is detected
in the thymus and in pokeweed mitogen-and Con A- activated spleen cells,
but not in the lung, brain, kidney, liver, bone marrow, unactivated spleen,
or LPS-activated splenocytes. Reports suggest that signaling through the
CD30 molecule may be important in cytokine production by CD8+ CTL lines and
may play a role in the negative selection of thymocytes Members of the TNFR
family and their ligands are involved in the inducation of diverse biological
responses in lymphocytes, including differentiation, proliferation, and cellular
death. In humans, CD30 was initially identified in Hodgkin and Reed-Sternberg
cells in Hodgkin's disease patients and subsequently was found on neoplastic
cells of certain types of non-Hodgkin's lymphomas. Stidues with activated
human T cells suggest that CD30+ CD45RO+ T cells comprise the major IFN-G
and IL-5 producing cells.
Use: -flow cytometry (recommend using Fc blocking steps along with biotin
labeled second step reagents with Streptavidin:PE)
-in vitro activation of CTL cell lines (using azide free material)

Storage: Store at 4 Deg C.
Precautions: For In vitro research Use Only. Not for use in or on humans or animals or for diagnostics. Sodium azide may form explosive compounds in presence of heavy metals or under acidic conditions. Flush drains with copious amounts of water to prevent buildup of explosive compounds.
