Antigen: mouse VE-cadherin fusion protein

Ig Isotype: rat IgG2ak

Purification: Purified from TCS by affinity chromatography

Reactivity: Reacts with mouse VE-cadherin (CD144/cadherin-5), a member of the cadherin family. VE-cadherin is an endothelial cell-specific, homophilic adhesion molecule. It is concentrated at interendothelial cell contacts and is thought to be involved in the maintenance of cell layer integrity. In Vitro and in vivo studies indicate that clone 11D4.1 antibody interferes with VE- Cadherin mediated intracellular adhesion (when using azide free material)

USE: -flow cytometry (approx 1ug/1 million cells)

         -histochemistry on acetone fixed frozen sections (approx 2-5ug/ml)

       -immunoprecipitation

     -blocking experiments (remove azide prior to use, certain cell lines may also require sterile filtering or removing endotoxin levels).
