Antigen: partially purified IL-1 receptors isolated from the C57BL/6 mouse T lymphoma EL4.IL2
Activity: This monoclonal reacts with mouse type I IL-1 receptor (CD121a) expressed by T cells, fibroblast, and epithelial cell lines. CD121a is an 80-kDa molecule which mediates the inflammatory responses of leukocytes to IL-1. Clone 35F5 is capable of blocking the binding of IL-1A, IL-1B and Il-1 receptor antagonist to the type I IL-1 receptor.
Application: Indirect immunofluorescence cell surface staining. (<1ug/1 million cells) (reccomend using amplified detection due to low levels present such as Biotin labeled second step awith Streptavidin- PE).

-in vitro blocking (azide free formulation)
-western blot of NON-reduced proteins (recommend clone 12A6)
-inhibition of Il-1 mediated responses in vitro and in vivo.
