Ig Isotype: rat IgG2bk

Immunogen: nylon wool purified C57BL/10 mouse splenic T cells and concanavalin A- activated C57BL/10 splenocytes

Purification: Purified from tissue culture supernatant

Reactivity: Reacts with the 170kd alphaM subunit of Mac-1 (CD11b/CD18) which mediates adhesion to ICAM-1 (CD54) and C3bi. Mac-1 is expressed on granulocytes, macrophages, natural killer cells, and B-1 cells in the peritoneal and pleural cavities. Mac-1 is rapidly up regulated on neutrophils after activation. Clone M1/70 BLOCKS cell adherence and C3Bi binding but does not block cell mediated lysis. Cross reaction with CD11b on human monocytes, polymorponuclear leukocytes and NK cells has been observed.

        -immunoprecipitation

        -immunohistochemistry (1-20ug/ml)

Application: -negative control for rat IgG2b isotype neutralizing antibodies in vitro on invivo.
