Antigen: HTLV-1 transformed rat T cell line TART-1 transfected with Mouse IL-2RB cDNA.
Activity: This monoclonal reacts with mouse 90-100kDa B chain of the IL-2 receptor. IL-2RB chain is constitutively expressed at moderate levels on a subset of CD8+ spleen cells and NK cells, and a lower levels on resting B can T cells. IL2RB chain expression is up regulated by IL-2. Clone TM-B1 blocks high affinity binding of IL-2 to the IL-2 receptor.
Application: Indirect immunofluorescence cell surface staining. (<1ug/1 million cells)
